Each pump is carefully checked, given a serial number and then modified to incorporate a different pressure relief valve ensuring greater reliability and peace of mind to your Impreza engine.
This variant of oil pump is fitted with the larger 12mm Rotor meaning a higher oil pressure is produced, perfect for modified engines where components require superior lubrication.

It is essential engines modified to 500+bhp have the most reliable system for clamping the cylinder heads onto the block assembly to avoid the heads lifting under load at high levels of boost pressure. The RCM 14mm Superstud Head Stud kit provides this peace of mind!
Now used in many of the fastest and most powerful Imprezas across the globe the RCM 14mm Superstud Head Stud Kit is quite simply the foundation on which all our high bhp engine conversions (including Gobstopper and Gobstopper 2) race engines are built around. Replacing the conventional 11mm Subaru cylinder head bolts with a series of 14mm precisely manufactured super high tensile, aircraft grade S99 steel stud and nut system offers many advantages when building your engine. With a tensile strength much higher than that of the OE bolts and the increased stability provided by the RCM studs larger diameter when further combined with the more uniform clamping force provided by the stud and nut arrangement it is clear why so many championship winning engines run these kits!
All kits are supplied with RCM's own assembly lube, which utilizes Graphite DJ technology, ensuring you are able to install to the correct torque figures accurately.

To allow fitting of the RCM 14/14mm Head stud kit your engine block must be re engineered to accept the larger studs used in this kit.
Due to the increased diameter of the cylinder head stud machining is required to the cylinder heads. The original head bolt passages must be drilled out to a larger diameter in order for the 14mm stud to pass through.
Non RCM manufactured head gaskets used alongside this kit will require slight modification using our tapered reamer tool (See part number RCM910).
4x RCM2726 modified head location dowels are required when using this kit (Sold separately).
RCM Billet Aluminum Oil Separator Cover Kit
Regular price $253.95 Save $-253.95Our Billet Oil Seperator Cover is the perfect addition to any engine build to guard against future oil leaks.
Throughout the years Subaru produced oil separator covers using a variety of materials such as: cast aluminium, plastic and pressed steel. Many of the later designs were manufactured purely as a cost saving exercise and as such later resulted in costly oil leaks which could be spotted making their way out from between the engine block and gearbox bell housing. In extreme cases the escaping oil could be caught up on the clutch plate, resulting in not only a gearbox removal for the repair of the leak, but also a new clutch kit (perhaps long before it would be due).
Most of us would only like to build an engine once, that's why its important to consider all the common faults and potential areas of weakness, putting an stop to any before they arise. With this in mind we designed our own separator cover. Based around the genuine part (but with a greater material thickness and improved design) we can safely ensure that provided adequate sealer and the correct torque has been applied, leaks from the rear oil cover can be eliminated for good.
RCM EJ20 2.0L Multi Layer Head Gasket Pair 1.1MM
Regular price $329.95 Save $-329.95Engineered to perform under the most extreme of conditions our cylinder head gaskets are rated for use up to and over 600BHP.
Unlike most conventional cylinder head gaskets, our gaskets use what is most commonly known as a “folded stopper level”. This revolutionary design dramatically reduces the chances of any pressure leakage from the cylinders. An increased thickness in the gasket is introduced around vital sealing areas and the design of this extra layer forms a much stronger barrier to prevent gasses / pressure / water and oil escaping from its designated area. The layer acts as a very reliable defence and is highly recommended for any Subaru, specifically those running above the standard factory torque / horsepower figures.
In conjunction with this new technology our gaskets also feature a unique nitrile rubber coating. This coating is designed to act as a cushion in which to fill / take up any areas of imperfection found in either the cylinder head or block faces, to ensure you have the very best combustion chamber armour!
Finally our cylinder head gaskets are all stamped from dies as appose to laser cut. With die stamping you can process a large amount of material at once which means that variations in the quality of each individual gasket is far less compared to laser cutting (in which each gasket section is cut separately to one another). With Die Cutting the finished edges are also far superior, leaving a much smoother, neater edge to the gasket as appose to laser cut steel which leaves a sharper edge behind.
For the ultimate seal all our gaskets are manufactured and designed to accept the larger 12mm and 14mm cylinder head studs also available from our online store. The standard cylinder head bolt (the component that joins the cylinder head to the block and offers force to seal your cylinder head gasket in place) is 11mm thick and uses a relatively fine thread. It is important to remember this bolt was developed for use on a mainstream engine producing no more than 320Bhp, Subaru did not manufacture this bolt for use with anything above this power and as such it is important to consider stronger and more suitable replacements. Here at RCM we manufacture both a 12mm and 14mm replacement head stud and nut kits. The studs are naturally stronger due to their extra thickness and superior material quality but they also benefit from a much coarser rolled thread (meaning you can tighten them far more than the standard bolt which in turn will offer a much higher clamping load between both the cylinder head and block faces where you head gasket is situated.)
Reliability is key to any engine rebuild, whether done for higher horsepower applications or just a simple repair / refresh its important to choose your components wisely so that you don’t end up repeating the process later down the line.

RCM Cylinder 4 Cooling Mod Gloss Black
Regular price $199.95 Save $-199.95Cylinder 4 cooling has long been a known issue on the EJ Family of Subaru engines. The nature of the water passageways around this area means a lack of cooling can lead to an increase in the temperatures around this cylinder.
RCM's simple solution to this problem lies in our easy to fit complete kit. Billet fittings are banded in place on our custom 90 degree Samco silicon hose, which you simply fit into the unused port at the back of the block at cylinder 4's location. This is then tee'd into the water matrix pipe directly above using the supplied HiGrip stainless steel fittings. The billet barb fitting is of the correct diameter to allow the right flow rate around cylinder 4 to cool without over cooling, and the 90 degree pre-formed Samco hose ensures that this flow is maintained without disturbance from potential kinks in the pipework.

RCM 13 Piece Billet Block Blanking Kit
Regular price $453.95 Save $-453.95RCM 13 Piece Billet Block Blanking Kit. When using used blocks for rebuilds, we use a cleansing process which brings these blocks back to life. This RCM kit ensures that the bungs not only seal correctly, but that they look as good as possible. Each bung is individually anodised in our gloss black, before having the RCM Power Parts laser marked into place. New aluminium sealing washers are supplied for each bung.
The modine water adaptor is manufactured from stainless steel, ensuring that the problem of the OE part rusting and corroding is completely removed.
The oil pressure switch bung is included, along with the 2 plain block sealing bolts on top of the block.
This 13 piece kit also includes the RCM Billet Gudgeon Pin Cover and Oil Separator Cover, completely replacing all the OE sealing bungs with RCM Billet versions.

This clever, effective modification has been designed to assist the Impreza with it’s oil supply and is now regarded as a must have modification with any Impreza engine build. Each pump is carefully checked, given a serial number and then modified to incorporate a different pressure relief valve ensuring greater reliability and peace of mind to your Impreza engine.

Our oil pumps are supplied with a replacement front crank oil seal and oil gallery, black sealing o-ring. It is also recommended that you use 3 bond sealer (SGA35) to seal the oil pump to the block assembly.
